Connemara, Ireland, Fall 2011. It was pretty windy, but the rain was merely sprinkling. Didn't see any wildlife, unless you count tourists...
A panorama from the same trip as the one above. Taken somewhere along the way to Connemara.
This was taken at night, a little before midnight in fact, on lake Viinijärvi in Northern Karelia. It's also a panorama, though I tried to make it not necessarily look like one, did it mainly to increase the resolution of the final image, so I could make a really big print and stick it on a wall for when I can't actually be there.
Leith, Edinburgh (Scotland). This is the biggest panorama I've taken to date. It clocked in at over 27'000 pixels wide after being cropped. I had a lot of fun color-correcting and adjusting to get the overall feel I wanted out of it.
I put this here mainly to prove how windy it was in the first shot. So this is Connemara again, and these are some of the tourists.
So I thought I'd include a couple candids here as well. Things get a little weird in Finland around midsummer, which is a big national holiday.
Would you believe this one is also a candid. Yeah. It might make a bit more sense if I tell you the sun is just coming up, or has just done so – morning, not night.
